In exactly 66 days we officially kick-off the summer of 2018 at Couleur Café, today we announce the final names for our 3 main stages.
Starting on Friday 29/6 with Dubioza Kolektiv, a Bosnian power house that was supposed to treat us to a crazy ska-punk party last year but had to cancel due to passport problems.
That Saturday, we are delighted to present De Palenque à Matongé, a unique Belgian-Congolese-Colombian project with the legendary musicians Dizzy Mandjeku and Leonardo Gómez. We've got more sunny Colombian tunes coming up, thanks to the irresistible duo El Caribefunk. They replace the previously announced Sidiki Diabaté, who unfortunately had to cancel his entire summer tour. We go out in style with some soul, house and hip hop beats by AliA, barely 18 years old and already one of Belgium's most promising DJs.
On Sunday we welcome a true Malian queen; Fatoumata Diawara plans on enchanting us all with her fabulous voice and beautiful melodies. Finally, more local talent: delightful latin reggae by Chicos y Mendez and the fresh rap tunes from the Brussels collective Le 77.
We have now announced all artists for the 3 main stages, except for the names of our third Niveau4 hip-hop show. Soon more news about this, as well as who will be spinning the decks at the Red Bull Elektropedia Black Stage and the Mamafoufou bar.
