When praise is due, we're eager to to give some. And you deserve it all. You are the prettiest festival goers out there. For 30 years now, Couleur Café can count on the support of the warmest, most generous and most colorful crowd of the planet. And you were numerous this year.
70,000 visitors on 3 sun-drenched days, over 60 live bands, 40 DJs & dub collectives, 42 restaurants, thousands of lights and 1 love. This sold out Sunday was one for the books.
With Couleur Café darlings like Tiken Jah Fakoly, Goran Bregovic, Protoje, Groundation, Amparanoia and The Cat Empire, we knew we were in for a treat. Young heroes such as KOKOKO!, Martha Da'ro, Sampa The Great and Rejjie Snow were just as impressive. The final notes on the Red Stage were reserved for Ms. Lauryn Hill, unfortunately with some delay. Those of you who still had some juice in their feet, could chose between the magnificent KOKOKO!, the Black Stage, Dub Forest or Casa Bacardi. What an absolute banger!
We can't thank you enough and start preparing the 31st edition of Couleur Café. Looking forward to welcome you back to the park on the 26th, 27th and 28th of June 2020. Those who cannot wait that long are most welcome in the AB on October 18 for a Niveau4 XXL rematch!
