The raving ornithologist
Dominik Eulberg from the Westerwald is both an international DJ and a maniac observer of nature – a master of reconciled contradictions. Since his first disc in 2003, he disperses ecological expertise and the sound of chirping birds in his tracks. Just like in the forest where some rustle in the coppice can turn into a hook line, to Dominik every single sound is important and endows the tracks with the vitality the dancefloor needs. His second album won the "Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik" with which he achieved a lot for the generation-spanning acceptation of techno. Even though his work stays complex and innovative, his inherent down-to-earthness allows him to be accessible to all audiences. Especially the lot of you in front of the Black Stage.
